Natiq Ahmad oglu Shirinzade was born on June 17, 1966, in the city of Shaki. In 1983, he graduated from Secondary School No. 10 with a focus on mathematics in Shaki, and from 1983 to 1989, he studied at the Faculty of Chemical Technology of Silicates at the D.I. Mendeleev Moscow Chemical Technology Institute. From 1994 to 1996, he graduated from Azerbaijan Western University with a degree in Organization and Management of Foreign Economic Relations. From 2009 to 2013, he studied at the Institute of Chemical Problems named after M. Naghiyev of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), specializing in Structural Chemistry and the Application of Silicates in the Oil Industry. He is a reserve lieutenant. He began his professional career from 1990 to 1992 as an engineer and senior engineer at the Baku Asbestos-Cement and Ceramic Products Plant. From 1992 to 1996, he was the General Director of Logman JSC. From 1997 to 1998, he worked as a consultant at the State Property Committee, from 1998 to 1999 as a Deputy for Economic Affairs in the Executive Power of Baku City, from 1999 to 2000 as a Head of Department at the Ministry of Trade, from 2001 to 2002 as Chairman of the Board of Binagadi Construction Supply JSC, from 2003 to 2006 as President of the Azinshaat Holding group of companies, from 2006 to 2014 as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dash Salahli Bentonite JSC and AzRosPromInvest LLC, and later as Chairman of the Institute of Global Economic Problems. From 2019 to 2020, he worked as Deputy Director and Head of Department at the National Geological Exploration Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Since March 12, 2024, he has been the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Agency for the Use of State Mineral Raw Material Resources.
Married, has two children.
